Polish death metal pioneers VADER are marking the 25th anniversary of their 2000 classic Litany with a newly remastered vinyl reissue, arriving June 6, 2025, via Metal Blade Records.
Originally released in March 2000, Litany clocked in at just over 30 minutes but delivered some of the band’s most relentless material to date. Now, the album returns with all 11 tracks remastered by Wojtek Wieslawski at Hertz Recording Studio, plus a 16-page booklet featuring brand new liner notes from frontman Peter Wiwczarek.
The 25th anniversary edition will be available in several vinyl variants:
Pre-orders are live now via Metal Blade in both Europe and North America.
You can also stream the crushing remastered version of the opening track “Wings” below.
In the updated liner notes, Peter Wiwczarek reflects:
“Litany was definitely our fastest and most brutal album ever recorded… This year the album celebrates its quarter-century, and we want to remind you of the power of these brutal riffs. The album returns to the stages in full form. Many of the songs haven’t been played since the 2000-2001 tour. Some of them have never been played. I invite you to the world of Litany. Remember… you enter here at your own risk!”
To mark the occasion, VADER will be performing special Litany-focused sets at select dates on their upcoming summer tour. Don’t sleep on these if they hit your area.
Keep an eye out for more Litany reissue content and announcements in the coming weeks.
