Loud As Hell – Family Reunion 2026 In The Badlands of Alberta

The August long weekend is now synonymous with one thing for me, Loud As Hell. Three days, and 1 night if you want to attend the opening, spent with hundreds of other Metal fans in the desolate wasteland known as Alberta’s Badlands – it’s really not as bad as it sounds, they have shopping, restaurants, hotels, tattoo shops – all of life’s important needs filled. Drumheller, Alberta is a unique place though. Just Google it, you’ll see what I mean.

Advertised as a Family Reunion, as well as a place to get Drunk As Fuck, it’s become an annual event for many throughout western Canada. Last year’s headliners across the 3 main nights were and Filth, North Carolina Deathcore, First Fragment, Tech Death from Quebec, and Revocation, Technical Death Thrash from Massachusetts. If that’s not enough to make you want to attend then you might just be dead.

This year’s bands, listed below, rivals any previous year for me. While it is only my second year, I’m stoked to be seeing Fallujah and Allegaeon, both bands I’ve been a fan of for a few years now, as well as many others I’m only just finding since the line-up was announced. I’m also happy to say that I’ll be attending this year as media, so will have a ton of photos to share in days and weeks after the festival.
